Has triggered a lot of complaints because of often the sound of loud moans, following the arrival of more than 1,000 participants to a small village that was quiet for the event that lasted three days.
The Swikarhon Festival, which lasted from 17 to 20 July 2025 in the village of Slington, Lincolnshire, England, reportedly set a cost of US $ 263 or around Rp4.3 million for participants who wanted to join the controversial event.
ALLINGTON Village in Lincolnshire itself is a fairly small village, with a population of only 897 people.
The controversial festival is now entering the fifth edition, where Swikarhon is designed for individuals and couples who adhere to open relationships, including members of the LGBTQ+community.This event offers glamping accommodation, live music, DJ set, and workshop on sexual health.

“ALLINGTON is now called the British Swingers capital,” said an elderly.”Most of us here are old and surprised that our peaceful village was chosen for this,” he continued.
The event DJ, Kerry Voellner, said the organizer had tried to improve conditions compared to previous years.”We have made a better soundproof and keep everything as clean as possible and as possible,” he said.
The organizer of Swikahon, Matt Cole, defended the event, claimed not to cause disturbances around.”It’s hard to hear anything unless you are in the location of the event,” he said.
The organizer provides around 4,000 condoms and offers free IMS (Sexual Infection Infection) test equipment, with around 50 percent of participants reportedly using it.
Despite getting a strong rejection from the community, the organizer estimates that the number of attendance will multiply next year.Founded in 2020, Swikarhon now includes music, workshops, and kiosks, welcoming people from the LGBTQ+ and Kink community.
However, some local residents remained opposed, calling the event “dirty” and claimed not to be accepted in their calm rural community.
