VIDEO: World’s Largest Hot Air Balloon Festival Celebrates Mexican Skies

Hundreds of hot air balloons decorated the sky of the city of Albuquerque, Mexico, Sunday (5/10), in celebration of the 53rd Albuquerque International Ballon Fiesta.
The festival is the largest hot air balloon festival in the world and was first held in 1972.
The launch of Mass Ascension opened the festival with hundreds of hot air balloons filling the Albuquerque sky.
More than 500 hot air balloons participated in this year’s festival.
The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is an annual event held for nine days in early October.
