Hundreds of dogs and their owners participated in Peroton, a competition to run as far as almost 1 kilometer held by the Bolivia Police on Sunday (27/7).
This event was held in order to celebrate 200 years of Bolivian police service.
The race is divided into three categories based on dog size: small, medium, and large.
Although participants joked each other, enthusiasm remained high throughout the event.
Aside from being a competition, this activity also aims to foster public awareness of the importance of caring for and loving pets.
