This incident was viral after a nine -minute video uploaded by a fed house account, watched more than 9 million times on Facebook.
The victim’s relative, Edah (40), claimed to have witnessed a worm along 15 centimeters out of the nose when the boy was treated at the emergency room.
“At first I thought it was a medical device, it turned out to be a living worm,” he said, launching

The victim’s aunt, Sarah, said that Raya was still playing with peers the day before being sick.His condition then worsened in a matter of days.
“Friday is still playing, Saturday was taken for treatment, he said lungs, Sunday was taken to the clinic again, then to the pediatrician. On July 13 he was referred, but it was getting weaker,” said Sarah.
The family just found out about the body of the Raya that was filled with worms after the child died.Sarah said, everyday Raya really likes to play on the ground and in the kitchen.
The victim’s mother, Endah, said that her youngest daughter had never been taken to the Puskesmas.During illness, Raya is only treated in the traditional way.
“If the pain is usually bathed in warm water or using cassava leaves. Just found out later he said there was a big worm in his stomach,” said Endah.
The local village midwife, Cisri Maryati, said that since the baby, Raya was observed to suffer from malnutrition with body weight always below the red line (BGM) on the card to healthy.
“I have ever wanted to be referred to the Puskesmas, but rejected by the family. Milk assistance, eggs, chickens, and local PMTs have also been given. Raya also routinely got the last worm medicine last February,” he said.
