is the result of skin or genetic care alone.However, the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) revealed that the biggest factor in the appearance of the face could actually be triggered from

which burdens daily life.
“Why are Europeans, or citizens in developed countries more citizens who are charming, glowing? It is certain that they have no concern for the disruption of life,” said BKKBN Main Secretary Budi Setiyono quoted

According to him, developed citizens tend to have a more attractive face not only because of genetic factors, but because of better welfare.
Conversely, there are still many Indonesian citizens who are struggling with free fears of life such as economics and the future, even to merely meet the basic daily needs.
“So it is actually not only because of its DNA. In us, the effect is the hormone stress or the hormone cortisol, which automatically comes out of the body when facing threats, hunger, uncertainty,” he explained.
Cortisol itself is a natural hormone of the body that appears when a person experiences stress.In high and continuous levels, this hormone can affect the condition of the skin and overall appearance.
The face looks more tired, dull, and not fresh, a picture that according to Budi, is very common in the faces of Indonesians.
“That is what happens. The face of Indonesians is filled with cortisol. If we want our faces to change, then we must follow the pattern of life guarantee above the welfare line that is truly guaranteed,” he added quoting seconds.
As an illustration, Budi compared the faces of South and North Korean citizens.Despite having the same ethnic and language background, different welfare conditions are called a real impact on their appearance.
“It’s better to see South Korea not because of oplas (plastic surgery), but South Korea is legally free from basic needs, North Korea has not been so that its faces are different,” he said.
The same thing happened in West Germany and East Germany before unification.
“West Germany is beautiful, East Germany does not. That is proof of guarantee, fear, and meeting basic needs affecting the presence or absence of the hormone cortisol,” he said.
Budi emphasized to improve the appearance of the faces of Indonesian citizens, the first thing to do is not to buy expensive skin care products, but rather improve the life guarantee system and social welfare.
“Fixing offspring does not always have to marry Europeans. The main thing is to improve the welfare of life, or at least insurance until old age,” he said.
He added, all residents need to be guaranteed to earn proper income, 12 -year basic education, and ownership of competency certificates in order to compete in the job market.
Indonesia also faces demographic challenges, where in 2045 it is estimated that 30 percent of the population is elderly.Therefore, Budi hopes that 70 percent of the productive age population can really work and support the non-productive group.
