One of them is Sildenafil.The last name is a hard drug commonly used to overcome erectile dysfunction.This drug can also increase physical abilities when exercising.
In addition to Sildenafil, other hard drug content found include dexamethasone, paracetamol, chlorfeniramin maleat, to Sibutramin HCI.All of them include hard drugs that should not be consumed without a doctor’s prescription.
“Illegal producers deliberately mix the drug chemicals (BKO) to give an instant effect. This is very dangerous because it can trigger heart, kidney, and even stroke,” said the Head of BPOM RI Taruna Ikrar, in his official statement, Friday (18/7).
Traditional medicine, according to him, should be a safe choice for the community.However, when mixed with drug chemicals, the benefits will disappear and change serious health risks.
Some side effects that can be experienced due to consuming illegal traditional medicine include the following:
– Chest pain,
– Heart debate,
– Decreased blood pressure.
Risk can increase in groups of people with heart disease and hypertension.
Taruna also regretted the increasingly sophisticated sales mode, from e-commerce to hidden distribution channels.He appealed to the public to only buy products with official permit numbers.
“Don’t be easily tempted by instant properties. Be an intelligent and critical consumer. Health is the most valuable asset,” he said.
